Did BHG violate my Rights?

Bankers is under investigation for alleged violations of the rights of Pennsylvanians under the federal and Pennsylvania consumer protection laws. We are investigating allegations that it allegedly:

• Misclassifies consumer loans as “business” loans to avoid consumer-protection rules. A 2023 class action alleged BHG/Pinnacle marketed and made loans to individuals while labeling them as loans to nonexistent “sole proprietorships”;
• Fails to give Truth in Lending Act disclosures that federal law requires for consumer closed-end credit, including disclosures such as the amount financed, finance charge, APR, total payments, and payment schedule; and,
• Charges excessive and inflated fees, including fees for services not performed.
