This important Court of Appeals decision by Judge (now Justice) Samuel Alito determined that the residual value assigned to a car at the start of the lease must be disclosed in the lease. The Nissan Motor Acceptance lease ran afoul of the federal Consumer Leasing Act in the form auto lease it used for our client.
