Good v. Nationwide Credit, Inc.
55 F.Supp 3d 742 (denying motion to dismiss),
314 F.R.D. 141 (E.D. Pa. 2016)(approving class settlement)
Flitter Milz challenged a large debt collector's use of "IRS" and "1099" language as confusing to the consumer. The court agreed that this states a claim for Fair Debt violation. Class action settlement later approved for the maximum recovery permitted. The court recognized Flitter Milz' “substantial experience in consumer class action litigation and is well qualified to represent the class.”
