Siconolfi v. Collection & Recoveries, Inc.

When a doctor's office mistakenly balance-billed the patient, he refused to pay, but a collector placed a "late pay" on the consumer's credit report. A suit under the Fair Credit Reporting Act against the collection agency for the bad reporting was upheld by the federal court in Pennsylvania.
