Having good credit is more important today than ever before. If you want to buy a car or a house, get a credit card, finance a college education, or do anything else that requires good credit, you might be out of luck if your credit is less than perfect. Unfortunately for many Americans, credit report errors can give creditors the wrong impression about you.
Credit reporting companies like Experian compile all sorts of data to decide your credit score, but they’re far from perfect. Simple errors, like a misspelled name or incorrect account information, happen all the time, and when they show up on your credit report, they have a huge impact on your future. If you’re the victim of a credit report error, you absolutely need legal representation to get those mistakes cleared up so you can get on with your life.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) was passed by Congress in 1970 to protect consumers from credit report errors and give them an avenue to dispute those errors and get them corrected. If you’ve identified an error in your Experian credit report and would like to dispute it, contact Flitter Milz today to schedule a no cost case review. Contact Us through our website, phone toll-free, 888-668-1225, or send an email to consumers@ConsumersLaw.com. We’ve got over 30 years of experience dealing specifically with consumer protection. We will fight for you to fix errors on your credit report.
